I posted today's APA SCOPE event to Events and not in the Events Community.
I'm not clear who sees General events versus those in the Events Community.

They are one in the same. "Events" IS the Events Community. EVERYONE sees what is in the "Events" community unless they actively opt out. However while everyone can SEE what is in the events community, they will not be NOTIFIED of the event unless you create a discussion post inside the community about it.
